Skipping a service or stretching the interval might save money in the short term, but minor issues that are missed can quickly become major problems that need expensive new parts or major repair work.
A specialist service centre
Buxton Car Centre Service & Repairs is a specialist service centre, endorsed by the AA and RAC. All work and repairs are completed to the highest standards. Once we have completed an interim or full service, we stamp and date your vehicle’s service book and reset any service warning lights.

Servicing overview
The service interval and type of service required depend on the manufacturer and on the vehicle’s mileage and age.
Interim services
Changing the engine oil and oil filters and checking the wheel nuts’ torque. We also check tyre pressures, clutch, power steering and brake fluid levels, and the windscreen wash reservoir.
Full services
Everything in the interim service, plus checks on coolant or antifreeze strength, gearbox and clutch fluid, axle and/or transaxle oil, and non-sealed batteries.

Spread the cost with a service plan
With our flexible service plans you can spread the cost of your annual servicing. Plans start at just £15 per month, but you can choose to pay whatever you prefer. There are no upfront fees and no hidden surprises.
If, at the time of your annual service, you have built up more than the cost of the service, the money is carried over to the following year. If the service costs more than the total in your plan, you simply pay the difference at the time.
