Wheel alignment & tracking
Driving over potholes, speed bumps or kerbs can knock your wheel alignment out, causing uneven and excessive tyre wear, and it can make your car feel like it’s pulling to one side.
Wheel alignment, or tracking, is one of the most important factors in maintaining your tyres, for optimum performance, even wear and maximum tyre life. Wheel alignment isn’t included in the price of new tyres, but we highly recommend having your tracking checked when new tyres are fitted.
Wheel balancing
Incorrectly balanced tyres cause vibration in the steering wheel, premature tyre wear and rapid deterioration of the vehicle’s suspension.
If your steering “wobbles” above a certain speed, the wheels are probably not balanced properly and need immediate attention. Unbalanced wheels are not only uncomfortable to drive on, they can affect the safety of your vehicle.
